Even if he doesn’t know how to pronounce his name, Travis Kelce loves Connor Bedard

Connor Bedard’s name quickly became popular in North America.

He was touted as the next NHL superstar, even before he began his big-league career.

And now, after seeing him play a total of 20 games (17 points, including 10 goals) in the National League, it’s safe to say that he’ll be the new face of the Bettman circuit before long.

Bedard impresses on many levels and is even attracting the attention of Travis Kelce, one of the NFL’s top players.

You’ve got to do it!

The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end may not know how to pronounce Bedard’s last name, but he loves watching him play:

Travis Kelce also said he’d like to don goalie pads for a practice, to see what it’s like to face National League shots.

A bit like Rob Gronkowski did a few years ago with the Tampa Bay Lightning, basically.

I’m not sure it’s the best idea you’ve ever had, Travis.

No joke, Connor Bedard’s popularity is already high and it’s only going to get higher in the next few years. At least, it will only grow if the NHL is able to find a way to promote his talent… And we know that’s a problem for the league.

But when Travis Kelce, one of the NFL’s all-time best close wingers, recognizes your efforts and talent, it’s because you’re doing things the right way. Especially since hockey isn’t the most popular sport south of the border!

Game recognize game, as they say.
