Corey Perry shares a letter of apology

The Corey Perry story is getting a lot of press, even though we don’t really know what happened.

The player hadn’t yet commented on the case, but now he has.

The former CH player has issued a statement apologizing for his actions.

He maintains that he has begun working with experts to address his alcohol and mental health issues, which is good news for him. He has to get the help he needs, after all.

Perry also claimed in his apology letter that he embarrassed his fans, but set the record straight by saying that the story has nothing to do with another Hawks player or that player’s family.
