Episode Sous Écoute: Guillaume Latendresse and Maxim Lapierre apologize

I don’t know if you were able to watch/listen to Mike Ward’s controversial podcast with the two guys from Poche Bleue a few days ago. It was sincerely something, I’m not going to lie to you.

I liked the beginning, but when Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse got “hot”, the show started to get not so good. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that.

As my colleague Médérick Lefebvre summed up, the host is (very) decent and wants to move on.

This statement contains an official apology from both guys. They are aware that they went too far, and in the future, they will adjust their behavior “so that this type of event doesn’t happen again”.

Tonight, Lapierre joins Antoine Roussel and Élizabeth Rancourt for the Canadiens’ pre-game show.

We can now put the Ward-gars saga in the Poche Bleue behind us and move on. Both sides have explained themselves, and all’s well that ends well.
