With what happened to Adam Johnson a few weeks ago, the question of protection is becoming increasingly fashionable.

Players have begun to protect themselves.

Unfortunate incidents do happen, however. After all, it’s not the whole body that’s protected.

A few moments ago, Kaiden Guhle was hit in the face by a skate. I was really, really scared.

More fear than harm, though.

The 21 came back into the game afterwards.
