All right. That's it!

Toronto Maple Leafs fans are going to go crazy when they see what Gavin McKenna did today at the team's rookie camp.

And honestly… it's no wonder! 

The player who was selected with the first overall pick in the last draft wowed everyone when he pulled out all the stops to score a goal against Michigan during an intrasquad game.

He raced in behind the opposing goalie's net before beating him with a move that's probably the hardest to pull off in a game situation.

It's impressive: 

It takes talent to pull off a move like that.

And this kid just proved to everyone that he's got plenty of it. Leafs fans must be happy and relieved to see him so comfortable on the ice, and that's only natural: we'd feel the same way in Montreal.

But for me, what stands out in that clip is the young player's confidence.

He knows the spotlight is on him, he knows everyone is watching him, he knows he has to perform well because playing in Toronto comes with a lot of pressure… and he has the audacity to try a move like that in his debut with the organization.
