The 2026–27 NHL season is fast approaching.

The various teams are gearing up for the season… and so are the National Hockey League's arenas.

In Vegas, they've decided to try something new at center ice. And judging by the result, it's clearly a very clever idea.

Basically, it's simple: the center of the ice in Vegas is now painted to resemble a roulette wheel. We know there are plenty of casinos in Vegas, and it's no wonder they call it the city that never sleeps.

Here's what it looks like:

Honestly, it's a good idea.

It really captures the environment the organization finds itself in, and moving forward with a project like this is interesting.

And above all, it brings a lot of originality when you compare the logo at center ice with the others found throughout the National Hockey League.

That said, it's 2026, and it's only natural for teams to be more creative than ever with their ideas. Technology means we're seeing new things year after year in the NHL, and I can't wait to see how far this goes, too.

And I can't wait to see if other teams in the league will be as innovative as the Knights!

In a Nutshell

– Note:

– Action resumes in the KHL.

– That's great!
