11th Edition of the Kevin Raphaël Classic: Here Are the Highlights from Jakub Dobes and Company

For the past 11 years—since 2015—sports host and comedian Kevin Raphaël has been organizing a hockey event that brings together celebrities and professional players to raise money for good causes.

The Kevin Raphaël Classic has thus become a highlight of the summer in Quebec, where fans can see several familiar faces in action in a relaxed and humorous setting.

The 11th edition took place yesterday and featured numerous celebrities and public figures.

Of course, all eyes were on the Montreal Canadiens players in attendance, as Jakub Dobes, Alexandre Carrier, and Jayden Struble were on the ice at the CN Complex in Brossard.

The three players, along with several other NHL players, put on a show in front of a sold-out crowd of 1,000 people to raise funds for the Canadiens Children's Foundation.

Of all the players at the event, Jakub Dobes was probably the one most eagerly awaited and beloved by the crowd—and let's just say that was evident the moment he stepped onto the ice.

So we were treated to a wonderful event yesterday, with many varied highlights, whether from the NHL players or the Quebec public figures in attendance.

Kevin Raphaël's team faced off against Anthony Duclair's team in a charity game that ultimately raised a record $67,000 for the Canadiens Children's Foundation.

That's impressive for an event that first got off the ground with just 67 spectators at its inaugural edition.

The guys had a blast, and they put on a great show for us, combining talent, craziness, silliness, and impressive moves throughout the game and the shootout.
