The playoffs in Montreal were electrifying.

Not just for the players, but for the fans, too.

In any case, opposing players, like Zach Benson, had an amazing experience. On the Morning Cuppa Hockey podcast, he admitted that he'd wake up at 3 a.m. because he could hear “Olé, Olé, Olé” chants.

During the first game against the Bruins, the Sabres' arena was already packed to the brim.

The Sabres players, most of whom were experiencing their first taste of the playoffs, had a great time.

It was against the Habs, however, that they realized Habs fans are the most passionate in the sport. Chants at 3 a.m., thousands of fans in the streets around the Bell Centre, an arena that shakes during the national anthems.

In short, Benson loved the experience.

The Buffalo forward admitted that once you've had a taste of it, you want to relive that moment.

Here's hoping for a competitive team in Montreal where we can watch big games year after year.
