Online betting site @betonline has already established the Bruins as favorites to win next year’s Stanley Cup, ahead of Vegas, Colorado, Edmonton and Toronto.
Montreal is still in last place and pays 150/1 like SJ, Philadelphia and Chicago.

The 2023 NHL season officially ended last night with the Vegas Golden Knights’ conquest.
It hasn’t even been 24 hours… And sports betting sites have already set their odds for the next Stanley Cup winner.
That said, Bet Online lists the Bruins as the favorites to win the trophy next year, with odds of 8/1. The Habs, meanwhile, find themselves at the very bottom of the standings “tied” with the Sharks, Flyers and Blackhawks.
“Huh?! Bruins?!”
You should have seen my face when I saw that the Boston team was the favorite to lift the Cup in 2024. After all, there’s so much uncertainty in Boston that it’d be a little crazy to think they’re the favorites as of today to win the big honors next season….
One thing we can agree on is that it’s far, far too early to make such a prediction. We don’t even know what the various NHL teams are going to do this summer, with the draft coming up and the free-agent market opening up…
And it’s hard to predict anything, because you can never be sure of a surprise in the NHL.
But here goes. Still, it’s a fun exercise, and let’s just say that if I had to do it, the Bruins definitely wouldn’t be at the top of my list. Even so, quick as that…
I’m having trouble predicting the next Stanley Cup final.
In gusts
– Nice.

– I laughed.

– The head of the Haas stable, Guenther Steiner, was his usual comical self during his appearance at the Bell Centre.
“I’ll come back and replace you.”

– Marc-Ćdouard Vlasic, bought by the Sharks?
It is time for the silly season. The buyout period starts in two days, and it doesn’t make sense for the #SJSharks to buy out Marc-Edouard Vlasic.
