Every year, NHL Network carries out the exercise of ranking the NHL's best players at each position. Last week, for example, defensemen were ranked. And for the Habs, Lane Hutson made it into the rankings, coming in at 19th. Today, it was the turn of the center players. And of course, we were keeping a close eye on Nick Suzuki, who has reached a new level this season and was ranked 16th last year. And indeed, Suzuki has taken a good step forward: he's now ranked 10th in the NHLNetwork rankings , afar cry from those who saw him as a mere second center.
