Finland faced Slovakia this morning in the quarter-finals of the World Junior Championship, and Filip Mesar’s team lost 4-3 in overtime.
The Habs hopeful tied the game late on to force overtime, but his second point of the game wasn’t enough to take his team through to the next round.
It’s great for Slovakia because they worked hard throughout the competition. It’s even more impressive because they were excellent, even without the services of Juraj Slafkovsky and Simon Nemec…
He really deserves all the praise he’s been getting lately.
