Last night marked Brady Tkachuk's big return to Ottawa.
There was also another NHL game on the schedule… while the Rocket was in action in Laval.
Let's see what happened:
The @NHLFlyers won their third straight game, while the @Senators earned their seventh win, tying for the third-most wins through 10 games in a season in franchise history.

1: Brady Tkachuk was booed… just like his team in Ottawa
Senators fans booed Brady Tkachuk on his return to Ottawa, and they didn't hold back.
The former Sens captain was even humiliated by the fans…
Brady “Saddam” Tkachuk.
Incredible. I need to buy one. https://t.co/i7bKZfXF6T

And the Sens fans were (truly) prepared for the event. These signs are simply… magical:

What's funny about this?
Those same fans gave Lars Eller a warm welcome… even though he played 68 games with the Sens last season. That's pretty funny:

Obviously, you can imagine that things got heated during the game.
Brady was at the center of several altercations… including this one:

As for hockey, the Panthers were no match for the Senators last night, who won 5-1.
Everything was going great for the Sens last night against the Panthers. And as much as I hate them… it was a sight to behold.
G-MONEYYYY for the lead after Brady turned it over!! #GoSensGo
What a shift from Dylan Cozens. That's what they need from him. https://t.co/kMQ0keWsSE

The only catch in all this?
The Sens lost Linus Ullmark during the game. The big goaltender got hurt late in the third period, and it really, really looked like it hurt.
It looks like a groin injury all over…
Ullmark leaves the game after an awkward stretch. Worst possible outcome if he misses time.
Then another scuffle breaks out as Cozens and Tkachuk have a heated exchange. THEN, jerseys are thrown.
CHAOS. #GoSensGo https://t.co/ufuPgbH1Fr

Great win for the Sens, who crushed the Panthers and Brady Tkachuk with a 5-1 victory.
That win must have felt good.
2: Cole Knuble Takes Care of the Sabres
The name Cole Knuble might ring a bell: he's the son of Mike, who had a great career in the NHL.
Like his father, Cole began his career with the Philadelphia Flyers. And like his father, Cole scored his first NHL goal… with the Flyers:

The young Flyers forward clearly enjoyed that, because it didn't take him long to score his second career goal in the world's best hockey league.
He single-handedly took care of the Sabres yesterday, and the Flyers won 3-1:

This is only his second NHL game

After the game, we were treated to a heartwarming moment… when Mike joined his son while he was on air with the NHL Network panel.
The family will remember that evening for a long time:
A moment Cole Knuble and his dad will NEVER forget.
After scoring his first TWO NHL goals, Cole was joined by his dad, former Flyer Mike Knuble, for an unforgettable postgame interview. https://t.co/zuu5Zst8Gi

3: A Painful Loss for the Rocket
The Rocket won 5-1 last night against the Syracuse Crunch.
Sasha Pastujov's goal stands out, since Luke Mittelstadt (once again) picked up a point…

David Reinbacher's goal stands out—he used his speed to break away and beat the goalie with a perfect shot…

But the biggest takeaway was Alex Belzile's injury; he left the game late in the first period after taking a dangerous hit from Jared Tinordi.
The veteran was never able to return to the game…
The Rocket may have suffered a major loss tonight against Syracuse. Alex Belzile took a hard fall against the boards in the first period after a check from behind by Jared Tinordi. He needed help getting off the ice and walking to the locker room.

Losing Belzile would be a big blow to the Rocket.
We're not just talking about a good veteran in the locker room: Belzile is also one of the team's top scorers and one of its offensive driving forces.
Let's wait and see what the latest news is on his situation…
