Juraj Slafkovsky trained with his teammates

The Habs headed to Florida after last night’s game against the Hurricanes, as they’ll face the Panthers tomorrow night.

There was a practice on the menu today, and first of all, Christian Dvorak was absent due to a day of treatments.

The good news, however, is that Juraj Slafkovsky trained with the rest of the squad.

It should be remembered that the young man had to leave the game yesterday in the third period after receiving a violent blow from Stefan Noesen.

It’s a good sign that he was on the ice today, especially as he wasn’t wearing a tinted visor:

We read in a text by Simon-Olivier Lorange (La Presse ) that Slaf had to go through the concussion protocol, but that he “was fine and would have had the green light to return to the ice had the game continued.”

More fear than harm, then. It would have been a shame, after all, to see Slafkovsky go down fighting because he’s been having such a good time lately.

More details to come…
