Patrick Kane signs with Alex DeBrincat’s Red Wings

Patrick Kane is a big name who hasn’t had a contract in months. The former Blackhawks star chose to take the time to heal his hip before signing a contract.

That said, the time had come for him to choose a new team. His healing process was well underway, and as he neared a return to action, he needed a club.

The Detroit Red Wings, the club that employs his friend Alex DeBrincat, won the derby. According to several sources, the forward will sign his next contract in Michigan.
