Joel Armia’s turn to miss training

Yesterday morning, we learned that Mike Matheson was not going to train. He took advantage of a day of treatments to take care of his body, but we don’t know the exact nature of his absence.

This morning, Joel Armia missed training for the same reason.

Obviously, it’s hard to come to any conclusions so quickly in view of tomorrow’s game, especially when we don’t know how bad the Rocket Canadien forward is.

But what we do know is that he’s already skipped his turn when he was healthy. He even lost his position in Montreal altogether, at one point.

Meanwhile, Michael Pezzetta has been eating his heart out since the last duel against the Kings on November 25. Could it be time for him to take Armia’s place when the Kings visit the Bell Centre tomorrow?

He’s missed every game since the one in Columbus.

Details to come…
