Last night, the highlight of the evening was the game between the CH and the Jets on the road.

I wrote a recap of it HERE.

Here's a recap of the other games on the schedule:

1. Quinn Hughes Is Not Welcome in Vancouver

For the first time since being traded to the Canucks, Quinn Hughes was back in Vancouver.

And let's just say he wasn't exactly welcomed back. He was booed throughout the game. Even when he was honored on the jumbotron, boos could be heard.

The fans really didn't take his departure well.

They made it clear to the Wild that he won't be signing there.

And of course, the fans reminded him that he wasn't any good.

The American silenced the crowd in the best way possible.

He recorded his 500th NHL point with that goal. The Wild won 4-2.

His teammate Kirill Kaprizov is also on a hot streak.

He's having quite a start to the season.

2. The Panthers Hold Their Ground Against the Hawks

After a loss to the Canadiens on Friday, the Blackhawks were looking to bounce back against another Atlantic Division opponent, the Florida Panthers.

Unfortunately for them, they fell short again. They lost 3-2.

Lars Eller scored the game-winner with a great shot.

Chicago lacked opportunism throughout the game.

How did the Hawks not score on that one?

They actually scored on that play, weirdly enough…

Artyom Levshunov didn't have a good game.

He finished with a -2 rating and was crushed by Carter Verhaeghe.

3. The Stars Break Through in the Third Period

The Stars and the Islanders faced off in the late afternoon.

Dallas broke through in the third period, scoring three goals to win 6-3.

First, Wyatt Johnston, alone in the slot, scored the game-winner.

Jason Robertson and Mikko Rantanen then scored insurance goals for the home team.

On the losing side, Matthew Schaefer found the back of the net.

It was already his 25th career goal.

Brayden Schenn is just one goal away from reaching the 300-goal career milestone.

4. The Preds crush the Avalanche

The Avalanche hasn't had a bad start to the season.

But they're not the same team as last year, which won the Presidents' Trophy. Last night, Colorado was crushed by the Preds 6-2.

Roman Josi recorded three assists in the win. He has entered the top 5 in a very specific category among defensemen in NHL history.

Another player who had a strong game was Filip Forsberg.

He finished with one goal and two assists.

The second goal was scored by Steven Stamkos.

The puck barely crossed the line.

Stammer added to the tally late in the game.

He scored his team's sixth goal.

Jayden Struble is having a good run himself.

He was busy, even though he didn't record any points.
