Zachary Bolduc is off to a great start with the Montreal Canadiens, scoring a goal in each of his first three games with the Habs and showing that he's capable of putting the puck in the net with his skills. He was expected to add some offensive punch to the Habs' attack… and so far, that's what we're seeing from him. and so far, that's what we're seeing from him. Marco D'Amico, on the Processus podcast, said something that really interested me about Bolduc: in his eyes, the Québécois can become “more than just a top-6 winger” in Montreal. And his comments are relevant because it's true that Bolduc has that potential. The Québécois can become an important player on the top-6, of course… but we're also talking about a player who can become really important on the powerplay in Montreal. The popular observation, at the moment, is as follows: Bolduc impresses and can become an impact player for the Canadiens.
