Blues: Kasperi Kapanen suspected of aggravated drink-driving

It’s beyond me, when I see or hear things like that.

Because, quite frankly… You’d have to be a sparrow to do things like that.

Kaspari Kapanen, who is under contract with the St. Louis Blues for another season, is suspected of aggravated drunk driving. The events took place at his home in Finland, where he has been spending most of his time since the beginning of the summer

.

According to a report by Finland’s national radio company (Yle ), drunk driving is considered aggravated in Finland “if the driver’s blood alcohol level is at least 1.2 per thousand or if he has at least 0.53 milligrams of alcohol in his blood”.

Not strong, man.

Also according to Yle‘s report, Kapanen’s story is expected to be heard by the Pohjois-Savo District Court early next year, in February 2024. Will

this have an impact on his NHL status? Until

then, I wonder what the Blues will do with him. Andrew Brunette went through a similar situation last winter, and the Devils decided

not to bother,

even landing him the Nashville Predators head coaching job earlier this summer

. So

these stories don’t seem to bother NHL clubs too much

I sincerely hope Kapanen learns from his mistakes, because no one on earth should drive drunk.

It’s dangerous, plain and simple… and it can kill you.

Let’s not forget, for all intents and purposes, that the player was called up by the Blues last February, a few weeks before the trade deadline.

In Brief

– It would be quite a scenario.

Hey boy!

Machine.

They need to get back on the winning track.
