It was a quiet night in the NHL last night.

Six teams were in action.

Here are the results and highlights:

1. I hope you're as cool as Jon Cooper was last night

Honestly, the outdoor game between the Lightning and the Bruins was one of the best in history.

The battle of the goalies was spectacular:

At the end of the game, the two goalies shook hands and put their differences behind them.

But it was Jon Cooper's outfit that really made headlines.

I wish you were as cool as him.

After this crazy game won by Tampa Bay, he treated himself to a nice cigar.

It was indeed a crazy game, as at one point Boston was leading 5-1.

And Tampa won 6-5 in a shootout… What a comeback!

First, the home team scored two goals in 23 seconds to close the gap.

And Nikita Kucherov brought everyone back to square one.

Four-point performance for the Russian, who took second place among the top scorers in an outdoor game.

2. Beckett Sennecke one point behind Ivan Demidov

In the last game of the evening, the Ducks hosted the Golden Knights.

They had a close call, but ultimately won 4-3.They led 3-0 at one point in the game.

Anaheim saw Vegas score two goals to cut the lead to one.

Beckett Sennecke recorded an assist in the win.

He is now one point behind Ivan Demidov and the top rookie scorer. The race for the Calder Trophy will be close.

Chris Kreider was the hero for the Ducks, scoring two goals.

Troy Terry and Jacob Trouba each had two assists.

3. Sebastian Aho gives the Hurricanes the win in overtime

In the afternoon game, the Los Angeles Kings were in Carolina to face the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes were leading 1-0 when Drew Doughty made a spectacular save to keep the game within one goal.

Late in the game, with Carolina leading 2-0, the visitors woke up.

They first narrowed the gap.

Then Quinton Byfield sent everyone into overtime.

However, it was the Canes who won the game.

Sebastian Aho sealed the deal.
