Then… do you have plans for tonight?
Personally, I have friends coming over to my place to watch Ivan Demidov’s first career game in the NHL. And I have the feeling that many people in Quebec will be gathering tonight for the event.
Because going to the Centre Bell, let’s say it’s… a fairly expensive project.
Tickets are selling out like hotcakes – especially since we know Demidov is going to play – and on resale sites, the prices are still very high:

$900 for a ticket in section 113 on the Billets.ca site… that’s intense.
Because we must not forget one thing in all this: Demidov is going to play his first game in the NHL… but the Canadiens also have the opportunity to secure their playoff spot with a win.
This is the biggest game of the season and it’s the biggest game in recent years in Montreal.
It’s normal to see people tearing each other apart for tickets to attend the game.
I really can’t wait to see what the atmosphere will be like at the Centre Bell.
Obviously, we should expect it to be (very) loud… and we should expect the fans to be fired up like a hot stove as soon as Demidov touches the puck for the first time.

I’m especially looking forward to seeing the welcome that will be given to Ivan Demidov.
It’s really exciting, at the very least. I wonder how Demidov feels right now…
