This is nothing new, the race for series in the Atlantic is very tight, which means that one or two losses can completely change the situation.

However, it was to be expected, as almost all the teams in the Montreal Canadiens’ division have what it takes to compete.

Now that we know the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins have sold at the deadline, it helps the Canadiens to participate in the series.

On the other hand, the last two games (against Edmonton and Calgary) were not profitable for the Tricolore.

The chances of participating in the spring dance are now quite low (less than 9%), according to what is reported on the Moneypuck site.

TVA Sports recently wrote an article about it.
