Three big names are back in the Rocket lineup

The Rocket is not off to a good start this season. The Canadiens’ training club is inconsistent and struggling to string together two wins in a row.

The club’s 5-9-3 record so far this season speaks for itself.

In recent games, the club has had to juggle several injuries. The good news, however, is that three key pieces of the team are back in the Rocket line-up.

Gabriel Bourque, Emil Heineman and Philippe Maillet have all received the go-ahead from their doctors for their respective returns to action, and will be in the line-up tomorrow when the club travels to Abbotsford to take on the Canucks.

This should really help the team offensively.

Heineman, who has only played two games so far this season, is a scorer and Maillet has the skills to be a productive AHL player.

Captain Gabriel Bourque may not be as important offensively in Jean-François Houle’s line-up, but he is the club’s stabilizer. He can be used for anything, and his leadership is important.

The return of the three forwards to the lineup is interesting… And the timing is ideal, because the Rocket announced earlier today that Sean Farrell will be out indefinitely with an upper-body injury.

It’s been said over and over again, but the clock is ticking for the Laval Rocket.

They need to start winning games on a consistent basis if they are to have any chance of making the playoffs.

To do so, the club’s defense and goaltending must take their game to the next level. Jakub Dobes and Strauss Mann’s stats haven’t (really) spoken for themselves so far this season.

But even though the club’s defense is young and inexperienced, it needs to find a way to better support the goalkeepers. If they don’t, the club will never move forward and victories will continue to be hard to come by.

– But what awful news…

– Calvary…

– Incredible.

– Can’t wait to see how he does.

– So much the better, for real.
