Joel Armia sold to Rocket; Gustav Lindstrom officially recalled

Earlier this morning, Martin St-Louis announced at a press briefing that a decision would be made before the game regarding Jordan Harris.

But just a few hours before the start of the game, Gustav Lindstrom was officially recalled by the club. Is this a clue to the defender’s state of health?

Joel Armia was traded to the Rocket.

We knew Lindstrom would be at the Bell Centre tonight, but we wondered if he’d be officially recalled.

After all, it wouldn’t have been necessary if Harris had been in uniform.

As for Armia, his 2023-2024 season is very disappointing. After training camp, he was placed on the waivers. When he was recalled by the Canadiens, he scored in his first game, but things went downhill from there. In six games, he has just one goal.

The Finn won’t need to go through the waivers again.
