Let's take a look at the Canadiens' salary situation for next season by looking at the guys who are at the end of their contracts within the organization. In 2026-2027, many contracts will be up for renewal. Among the unrestricted free agents, the files of Patrik Laine, Mike Matheson, Kaapo Kahkonen, Alex Belzile, Marc Del Gaizo and Nate Clurman are worth keeping an eye on, butnot at the same level. Matheson and Clurman won't get as much attention, of course,but many players will also be restricted free agents. Sean Farrell, Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Jared Davidson, Luke Tuch, William Trudeau and Gannon Laroque are among them, but Kirby Dach, Joe Veleno, Zachary Bolduc, Arber Xhekaj and Lane Hutson are the names to watch out for in the NHL.
