Martin St-Louis will lead his 150th game tonight against the Jets.
He has a record of 58 wins, 77 losses and 14 tie-breakers, 130 pts and a winning percentage of .436 in 149 games.

And even if the victories aren’t there, let’s just say that the club is moving in the right direction.
Of course, it’s clear that even if MSL didn’t have much experience behind the bench when he arrived in town, he had acquired his experience in other ways, for credibility’s sake.
Because without credibility, he wouldn’t have gotten far.
When you take a guy like Johnathan Kovacevic, who didn’t really get his chance in the NHL before coming to Montreal, you think that playing for a guy like St-Louis must be special.

Kovacevic explains that St-Louis has its own rules that have nothing to do with those of the NHL books. They’re the coach’s rules… not to be broken on the ice.
And when that happens, it’s hard to feel good about it.
I’m not going to lie, I broke a rule on Wednesday. And Martin wasn’t happy. I can understand that.

For those wondering, Jordan Harris travelled with Habs to Winnipeg and is on this three-game trip. As of Dec. 12, his timeline to return from lower-body injury was 10-14 days. He was back for part of prac Fri and the morning skate Saturday. Perhaps trending a bit ahead of sched?
