Owen Beck has fun with a four-point performance in the OHL

The Montreal Canadiens’ hopefuls are doing well these days.

For the Laval Rocket, Joshua Roy, Logan Mailloux and William Trudeau all collected two points in the Rocket’s victory this afternoon.

Jean-François Houle’s team defeated the Manitoba Moose 6-2.

As Marc-Olivier Beaudoin reports above, young Slovakian Filip Mesar also impressed on Sunday.

He collected three points and now has 15 points in 8 games this season.

On the other hand, although Beaudoin mentioned that Owen Beck had three points, he too had four assists.

The Peterborough Petes faced the Brantford Bulldgos, Florian Xhekaj’s team.

Arber’s brother opened the scoring in this match, which ended 5-4 in favor of the Petes.

With his four assists in this game, the young center now brings his point total to 13 in 14 games.

Beck has had a slow start to the season, precisely since the CH cut him from its training camp.

In the last few games, however, he seems to have found his feet again.

Before the game, Beck had collected just two assists, but had also scored 7 goals.

His playmaking skills came to the fore in this game, which ended in overtime.

If he can find his rhythm of recent years, he has a good chance of making Junior Team Canada.

His advanced age could give him a strong case for selection for this winter’s World Under-20 Championship.
