Dylan Larkin wants to leave Detroit. Everyone knows it.
It's also becoming increasingly clear that there's a good chance Zach Werenski will be traded by the Blue Jackets. He doesn't want to stay in Columbus long-term.
They're currently two of the biggest names on the market.
Is it possible that the two—who are good friends—could end up on the same team? Elliotte Friedman, on the 32 Thoughts podcast, speculated on this.
That would be intense, but fun to watch.

Obviously, there aren't 32 teams that would potentially be in a position to do this. And on that note, Friedman pointed out two: the Stars and the Golden Knights.
He also noted that it would be tough to pull this off in Vegas…
If Dallas were ever able to reunite the two friends, it would drastically transform the team. But if Jim Nill thinks that's what it takes for his talented squad to reach the next level…
Landing Werenski would come at a high cost. Thomas Harley's name would likely have to be included in such a trade, as he's an excellent player. His no-trade clause hasn't taken effect yet, and he's under contract through 2034.
As #CBJ deliberates what to do with Zach Werenski:
If you don't want to completely tear the team apart, Thomas Harley may be the most intriguing trade target for them. He has no trade protection, is under contract through 2034, and is a great player in his own right.
It remains to be seen whether Dallas would include him.

And what about the Red Wings? Could Jason Robertson, who grew up in Michigan, be interested in returning to his home state for the next chapter of his career?
Who knows.
Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to happen. But those would be two massive, game-changing trades the Stars could make.
We'll see how it plays out.
In a nutshell
– One to watch.
Today marks an important deadline for 11 players in the #CH organization.
From what I understand, by the way, we should expect Joshua Roy to receive a qualifying offer in the coming hours. https://t.co/fV11cGNpxb

– What will the Blues do?
Frank Seravalli: Re Colton Parayko/Blues: He has a full no-trade clause through…2028; I don't get the sense he wants to be traded, so maybe that's why [the Blues] aren't engaging – Frankly Hockey (6/26)

– That would be crazy.
