Last night, four teams were in action in their second-round series.

The Canes had a chance to take a two-game lead.

Here are the results and highlights:

1. Vegas scored the game-winning goal on a controversial play

Let's just say the referees aren't having their best series.

Yesterday, in the game between Vegas and the Ducks, the linesman allowed a faceoff that should have been called off. A few seconds later, the Knights scored the game-winning goal.

Joel Quenneville was furious.

Yet his team had tied the game just moments earlier.

Mitch Marner sealed the win with an empty-net goal.

Brett Howden, meanwhile, scored his fifth goal of the playoffs (already).

Vegas now leads the series 1-0.

It continues tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. in Nevada.

2. The Hurricanes remain undefeated

The Hurricanes are still undefeated in these playoffs. Yesterday, they won and now lead the series 2-0.

However, they trailed for the first time in the playoffs. The Flyers led 2-0 at one point in the game.

Carolina, however, came back from behind. Nikolaj Ehlers scored his first goal in a Hurricanes uniform in the playoffs.

Then, Seth Jarvis sent the game into overtime.

Taylor Hall secured the win for his team.

Rod Brind'Amour's team could take a comfortable 3-0 lead in the series on Thursday at 8 p.m. in Philadelphia.
