Juraj Slafkovský is really turning the corner in Montreal. The Slovak, who was moved off the first line to encourage him to take more control of the game, has found undeniable chemistry alongside Ivan Demidov and Oliver Kapanen.
The Kid Line is doing a big, big job right now.
And Slaf is clearly benefiting, having scored five points in two games over the past week. And today, he was honored for his efforts.
The NHL announced its three stars of the week… and the third is Juraj Slafkovský.
He's second only to Nikita Kucherov (who gave the Habs a hard time yesterday) and Eeli Tolvanen.
Nikita Kucherov, Eeli Tolvanen, and Juraj Slafkovský have been named the NHL's “Three Stars” for the week ending Dec. 28.
