Opening match: Lane Hutson receives a hero’s welcome at the Bell Centre

Tonight is the Canadiens' home opener. And as usual, we were expecting the classic pre-game ceremony.The Bell Centre, after all, has a reputation for that.And of course, we were expecting quite a crowd reaction for Lane Hutson. Seeing the defenseman sign an eight-year contract yesterday (and do it at a discount) was a perfect recipe for a monster ovation, so it was no surprise that when Hutson was introduced to the crowd, he got a ton of love.
