$20 million for Johnathan Kovacevic with the Devils

After having a very quiet morning in the National Hockey League, things are now unfolding this afternoon with the trade deadline approaching.

Whether it’s Mikko Rantanen or Dylan Cozens, we’ve really had quite a day so far, and there are still two hours left before 3 pm.

So it’s a big day, on several levels, as contract extensions are also being handed out, as was the case a few minutes ago with a former Montreal Canadiens player.

In fact, Johnathan Kovacevic has just signed a huge five-year, $20 million contract extension with the Devils.
