Rafaël Harvey-Pinard returns to action tonight

It’s confirmed!

Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will make his return to the Canadiens line-up tonight, when the Sharks will be at the Bell Centre for the occasion.

He will take Emil Heineman’s place in Martin St-Louis’ line-up.

The Quebecer hasn’t played since November 14 in Calgary.

He suffered a lower-body injury.

This is obviously good news for the Canadiens.

We know that Harvey-Pinard has a mentality of constantly upsetting the opposition, and in recent games, it seems that the Habs have been lacking a bit of that aspect.

I can’t wait to see what level he comes back to.

And let’s not forget that at the start of the season, it was a little more difficult for the forward. He hasn’t found the back of the net in 13 games so far, and boasts a total of four points.

The Quebecer’s return to the line-up also means he takes the 23rd spot in the Montreal Canadiens’ active roster. The Habs had 22 players on the roster (12 forwards, 7 defensemen and 3 goaltenders) due to the departure of Gustav Lindström to the waivers.

Extension

It should also be remembered that tonight, Samuel Montembeault will be defending the Tricolore cage.

Heineman was transferred to Sean Monahan and Jesse Ylönen’s wing last night in Philadelphia… And it’s safe to assume that’s the trio Harvey-Pinard will play tonight.
