Evgenii Dadonov signs two-year contract with the Stars
When the Stars acquired Evgenii Dadonov at the trade deadline, it was primarily with a view to acquiring a rental player who would bring some offensive punch to town. In return, they sent Denis Gurianov, an enigmatic youngster who no longer belonged in Dallas, to Montreal.

In the end, he had such a good time in town that the Stars decided to keep him for two more years.
