Canadian to meet Matvei Michkov this week

Whoa. That’s what came out of my mouth when I saw Frank Seravalli’s latest tweet.

Basically, it’s simple. The Daily Faceoff tipster claimed that the CH would be meeting with Matvei Michkov this week, in preparation for the NHL draft.

It’s important to remember that the Russian didn’t originally intend to meet with all the teams before the draft, as if he wanted to choose his next destination.

It’s a positive sign that the Habs are among the teams that will be talking to him.
