Shooting stars : Karl Tremblay honoured before Bell Centre game

Karl Tremblay, lead singer of the Cowboys fringants, was honored before tonight’s Canadiens game under the theme of shooting stars.

The man who died yesterday of prostate cancer (the month dedicated to the subject) has been the subject of many tributes over the past few hours in the four corners of the French-speaking world.

And deservedly so. After all, he left his mark on several generations.

During the tribute, Quebecer Rafaël Harvey-Pinard dropped off a Tremblay jersey at center ice.

Well done.
