Top-2: Jonathan Drouin finally scores in Colorado
Last night in the NHL, there were only two games.

Here are the results and highlights:

1. Jonathan Drouin finally breaks through

Since the start of the season, things haven’t been going so well for Jonathan Drouin. He still hadn’t scored, but that changed last night.

He took advantage of his former Halifax teammate, Nathan MacKinnon, to score his first goal in his new uniform. It was his 12th game in Colorado.

The Quebecer now has three points.

Drouin isn’t the only former Canadien to stand out. Tomas Tatar had fed Cale Makar moments earlier. The defenseman didn’t miss a similar opportunity.

Mikko Rantanen continued doing what he does best: making magic on ice.

Colorado finally disposed of the Kraken by a score of 5-1.

2. Kris Knoblauch wins his first game

In the other game, Kris Knoblauch was at the Oilers’ helm for the first time. Connor McDavid’s former junior coach won his first game by a convincing 4-1 scoreline.

However, the game got off to a bad start for his team. Mathew Barzal scored early on.

But Leon Draisaitl was on hand to answer.

In his team’s win, Connor McDavid finally broke the deadlock. After nine scoreless games, he finally found the back of the net.

He mentioned in a post-game interview that he finally remembers how to score.

The big guns have risen in Edmonton, then, and all is better. Let’s hope the Oilers can stick some wins, now.
