Even though several teams have been active in recent weeks, numerous rumors continue to circulate throughout the League.

Big names like Dylan Larkin could still change teams, and depth players could be of interest to clubs like the Canadiens.

Here are the latest rumors from across the NHL.

Morgan Frost could be an interesting option for the Habs

The Flames are rebuilding and may continue to trade away certain players.

According to David Pagnotta, who appeared on the Hello Hockey podcast, the names of Zach Whitecloud and Morgan Frost are reportedly still on the market.

Frost is a 27-year-old left-handed center who is a solid playmaker with good vision and hands; he has never quite reached his full potential and could be of interest to a team looking to strengthen that position, such as the Habs.

The forward recorded 43 points, including 22 goals, in 82 games last season.

However, he lacks physicality and is inconsistent, and he would realistically be better suited as a third-line center rather than a second-line one.

Dylan Larkin is reportedly still on the Wild's radar

The Wild has been trying to acquire Dylan Larkin for several weeks, to the point of passing on the potential acquisition of Vincent Trocheck.

However, as Michael Russo and Joe Smith explain in an article on The Athletic, although Minnesota was among the teams to which Larkin was willing to be traded, Steve Yzerman's departure as GM of the Red Wings almost certainly nullifies any basis for an agreement that might have existed between the two teams.

Furthermore, the imminent arrival of new management with the Wings could change Larkin's situation, and he might choose to stay with his current team.

In the meantime, the Wild are closely monitoring how the situation in Detroit unfolds.

Predators on the Hunt for a Defenseman

Nashville is reportedly looking for some reinforcements before the season starts, particularly at center and especially on the blue line.

According to Elliott Friedman, who discussed the Predators' situation on the 32 Thoughts podcast, their GM, Chris MacFarland, is reportedly looking for a talented defenseman to pair with Roman Josi.

MacFarland has shown in the past that he likes to build his teams starting with the defense.

However, the GM isn't reportedly in a hurry to sign a new player; instead, he's waiting for the right offer.
