Cole Caufield is on track to score 50 goals.

And if he keeps scoring at the same pace he has since early March, he'll reach the famous milestone of 50 goals in a single NHL season.

He's hard to stop right now.

It's simple: Caufield has scored eight goals in his last six games and is showing everyone he's on track to hit 50.

If we take it a step further, Caufield also scored 12 goals in March… in just 14 games. He's outplaying opposing goalies at a truly impressive rate, but…

But that's not enough to earn him a spot among the NHL's three stars of the month. Instead, Nikita Kucherov (1st star), Erik Karlsson (2nd star), and Pavel Zacha (3rd star) were named by the National Hockey League.

Is this the end of the world? No.

And… I even tend to think that Cole couldn't care less about whether he's on that list or not. He has a goal in mind, and right now, he's not just scoring: he's helping his team win games by playing the right way on the ice.

That's what matters most, at the end of the day.

There's been a lot of talk lately about Caufield's push for 50 goals, and that's normal: it's been so long since we've seen that in Montreal… and it's crazy to think that a 5'8”, 175-pound forward is on track to pull off that feat.

There were doubts about Tit-Cole when he first arrived in the National Hockey League. Let's just say that right now, he's shutting a lot of people up… and in a way, it's great to see.
