Carey Price at the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix
Carey Price may not be a big Formula 1 fan, but he seems to be enjoying his day at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. The goalie came to watch the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix race on Sunday.

His wife, Angela Price, posted a photo on Instagram showing her with Carey Price, as well as Paul Byron and his wife.

Price even took the time to answer a few questions from Journal de Montréal’s Louis Butcher.

“I have a lot of respect for these high-level athletes, because they are true athletes.” – Carey Price

Number 31 is not a big F1 fan. His last visit to the Canadian Grand Prix was in 2013. But he seems to enjoy the event.

What Price admires most about F1 drivers is their concentration. As a goalkeeper, he’s probably well aware that in both sports, concentration and calm are the key to success.

Price even revealed who his favorite driver is. It’s Lewis Hamilton. This makes sense, because Hamilton is one of the greatest drivers in history. He has won the drivers’ championship seven times since the start of his career.

Paul Byron and Carey Price aren’t the only field hockey players at the event. On Saturday, we caught a glimpse of Cole Caufield, Trevor Zegras, Jack Hughes and Chris Wideman at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

Today, we also caught a glimpse of Pierre-Luc Dubois and Mitch Marner.

We hope to see Price around Montreal more often.
