Last week, Marc-André Fleury practiced with the Wild.
This caused quite a stir, since the goalie is retired and has said he doesn't want to return to the game. His body is worn out, which means he can no longer play regularly.
But the Québécois practiced AGAIN this morning in Minnesota with some of the Wild players. And that makes me wonder: why is he still skating?
Obviously, it's normal to ask questions.
It's normal to wonder if Fleury's goal is to return to the game… even though he says that's not an option for him right now. Because there must be a reason why he took part in two practices in less than a week with the Wild.
I have a feeling there's something we don't know.

In the video above, which was shared by Arpon Basu on X, we see that Fleury is able to move with relative ease.
His movements are excellent, and watching the footage, you wouldn't believe you're looking at a goalie who is currently retired. Instead, you'd think you were looking at a guy who could play a game tonight in the best hockey league on the planet…
Of course, Fleury has said that he is not thinking about returning to play—but he may have said that to hide his intentions.
He didn't have to say out loud that he wanted to return to the National Hockey League, nor did he have to say that he's fit enough to play.
I'm not saying that's 100% the case… but I find it hard to believe that seeing him practice like that is a coincidence.
We've seen athletes come out of retirement in the past, after all. I'm thinking in particular of Justin Williams, who decided to hang up his skates before coming back to finish the following season with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Maybe that's Flower's plan…
Overtime
– Wow.
The LA Kings and Vegas Golden Knights both have FOURTEEN OT losses, which is on pace to shatter the NHL record
Those extra points have Vegas leading their division and LA tied for a Wild Card spot

– Good news for the Avalanche.
Devon Toews is going to play for the #Avs tonight, so all 8 Olympians *should* be fine for next week in Milan. They went 5-6-2 without him. https://t.co/6xgIQWlj8h
