He hasn’t trained with the group yet, but that’s okay. At least he’s able to wear his skates.
A return to the game is expected within three weeks, which would be excellent news for the final stretch of the season. – Renaud Lavoie

It’s not great.
And what I’m trying to say here is that the Canadiens aren’t doing as well lately when their defender isn’t there. We know he’s an important part of the defensive brigade, and it’s certain that his loss was going to hurt at some point.
That being said, the Canadiens’ season ends on April 16, in almost exactly a month. If we assume Guhle will return to the game in three weeks, he would be able to play in the last games of the campaign… and it will be important for the Canadiens to keep their rhythm until then.
Because it’s great to be able to count on Guhle’s services… but it won’t matter if the Canadiens start losing their games and find themselves out of a favorable position to make the playoffs in a few weeks.
With the standings being so tight in the East, a team that’s in the race right now can quickly eliminate themselves by losing several games:

— No problem between Xhekaj and Pezzetta, who exchanged blows during training this morning.
“I didn’t like his mustache this morning! No, seriously, it’s intense practice. It’s all part of the game… We’ll probably go out for dinner together tonight!”

Inside the Hurricanes’ stressful deadline, why they don’t regret the Rantanen trades, and watch out they’ve got ample cap room this summer!

“If Patrik Laine had been here since the start of the season, the Canadiens would already be in the playoffs!” @TonyMarinaro doesn’t understand why people want to see Patrik Laine leave Montreal this summer… pic.twitter.com/kCatnRq2Pp
