Top-5: Marc-André Fleury just three wins behind Patrick Roy
Yesterday, five games were presented in the NHL.

Here are the results and highlights:

1. Wild still unbeaten under John Hynes

Due to a poor start to the season, the Wild fired coach Dean Evason. The dismissal came at a good time, as since the hiring of John Hynes, the team is 3-0.

Yesterday, the Wild won again, this time by a score of 4-1.

With his 548th NHL victory, Marc-André Fleury is now just three wins behind compatriot Patrick Roy and second in history.

The Quebecer stopped 28 of 29 shots for his fourth win of the season.

His teammate, Marco Rossi, was also good. He scored twice in the first period.

On the losing side, Connor Bedard picked up an assist on his team’s only goal.

He increased his streak of road games with at least one point to nine.

2. Anze Kopitar becomes the Kings’ all-time leading passer

Last night, Anze Kopitar made history. The Slovenian picked up an assist on Quinton Byfield’s goal.

He thus became the best passer in franchise history.

It was his 758th career assist.

Here’s his young teammate’s goal:

Another fine goal was scored by Los Angeles.

Trevor Moore made a great individual move.

Final score: 4-1 Kings vs. Avalanche.

3. Artemi Panarin hat trick

Yesterday, the Rangers, now the best team in the NHL, faced the San Jose Sharks, the worst team in the NHL.

Logic was respected, but it was a close game.

A 6-5 Rangers victory.

Artemi Panarin finished the game with four points and a hat trick.

Mika Zibanejad picked up a point in his seventh consecutive game.

In the first period, the two teams exchanged no less than five goals.

In a losing cause, Anthony Duclair scored a beautiful goal.

4. Brad Marchand’s natural hat trick

The Bruins have won their last two games, but prior to this streak, they had lost four of their last games.

Boston seems to be back on track.

Yesterday, the club defeated the Blue Jackets 3-1.

Captain Brad Marchand led by example. He too scored a hat trick, but a natural one. A natural hat trick is when a player scores three goals in a row.

With this victory, Boston moved up to second place in the overall standings, just behind the Rangers.

In the win, Charlie McAvoy, in his 400th big league game, picked up two assists.

5. Filip Forsberg the scorer

Filip Forsberg is off to a great start this season. The forward has 13 goals and 15 assists in 24 games.

Yesterday, he scored a goal in the opening face-off win. It was his 11th goal in 12 games.

The Preds finally won a defensive game by a score of 2-1.

The Sabres’ only goal came on a penalty shot by Victor Olofsson. And he thoroughly undercut Juuse Saros.
