nick suzuki on tsn690 said that fans shouldn’t worry about cc22 extension because it’s gonna get done

At 9:05 this morning, Nick Suzuki was interviewed on TSN 690, Montreal’s English-language sports radio station. He was interviewed by Shaun Starr and Conor McKenna.
Several interesting topics were discussed during the interview, including Cole Caufield’s contract. The captain, who often chats with his friend, doesn’t talk about contracts, but he’s not worried.
Of course, Caufield wasn’t the only subject of the interview. It was just one part.
As captain of the Habs for the past year, questions about the team’s direction were posed to the captain. The man who enjoys the city between training sessions (he took a leave of absence, but is back in training) is confident that what’s next will be good.
After all, without all the injuries, it won’t be so tough next year. Yes, I’m taking it for granted that the CH will have fewer injuries next year than last year. I’m taking a risk, I know.
To do so, of course, you have to take note of what’s going on elsewhere. If you’re tired of losing, you’ll think that taking inspiration from teams that are fast, offensive, structured and play together is what’s in store for the Habs.

Because it’s been said before, it’s nothing new.
That said, what I remember is what Suzuki said a little later in the interview about the power play. We know it’s not always a success in Montreal, but he has his own idea of what it takes to improve it.
The good powerplays around the league are made up of guys who have been playing together for a long time. – Nick Suzuki
It’s true that in recent years, there have been a lot of changes. Clearly, with so many injuries and with the transactions, it can be a game-changer, but…
We mustn’t forget, either, that several players have changed roles in the five-man attack. That, too, changes the game in terms of preparation and knowing which player is where on the ice.
We’ll be wishing Nick Suzuki consistency in 2023-2024. That said, the simple return of Cole Caufield will help, won’t it?

– Too bad.
We’ll spare you the details, but Félix Auger-Aliassime has a stomach virus, the symptoms started last night.
This comes on top of recent physical problems (knee, shoulder). Without saying it worries him, he wants to dig a little deeper to find out if everything’s okay.
