Breaking news: All signs point to Peter Laviolette as Rangers' next coach

This has not yet been confirmed. But…

Everything points to Peter Laviolette as the next Rangers coach. This is the latest information reported by Elliotte Friedman on Twitter.

Again, it should be noted that no announcement has been made by the team. The two sides appear to be still in discussions regarding the signing of his contract as the team’s head coach.

That said, negotiations appear to be in the final stages, and it shouldn’t be long before the Rangers make the announcement.

There is word this afternoon the NYR and Peter Laviolette are gaining momentum. Nothing is done until it’s done, but, barring a swerve, looking like Laviolette as next Rangers head coach.
