In addition to this currently-delayed Philadelphia trade with St. Louis, there is word the Flyers are also working on a Tony DeAngelo trade that would return him to Carolina. That one might also wait until tomorrow.

On the Flyers’ side, we know that Kevin Hayes and his hefty $7.14 million contract for the next three seasons would be part of the swap.
DeAngelo’s salary would be partially withheld, and the Flyers would get a prospect from Carolina, as reported by Pierre LeBrun
Travis Konecny and Scott Laughton wouldn’t be part of the trade either, according to David Pagnotta.
Flyers would retain part of Hayes contract. I believe he was focal point of trade talks between the 2 clubs recently, not Konecny or Laughton.
Blues want to remain in playoff contention next season. May explore bringing back ROR in July, as well – he would be open to a return. https://t.co/v7eWYj7R7o

Just told the Flyers-Blues trade will not be finalized tonight. See you tomorrow with more. There’s a barstool calling my name tonight.

The @StLouisBlues have 3 First Rd picks this year, I’m told at least one of them is currently on the table for a pending Trade. @espn @NHL @NHLNetwork @TSNHockey @DKSportsbook #HockeyTwitter

According to SanFilippo, one of the players involved in the Blues’ trade would be a defenseman, possibly Torey Krug. However, he has a no-trade clause and will have to exercise it voluntarily to leave the club.
On the other hand, Flyers general manager Daniel Brière is reportedly looking to ” flip” him to a team to which he would like to be traded. Travis Sanheim and Kevin Hayes would be two players included in the transaction.
The complication surrounds a Blues player, believed to be Torrey Krug, not willing to waive his NTC to come to the Flyers.
However, Briere is working to see if he can flip Krug to a team for whom he would waive his NTC.
The Flyers would get one of the Blues late first rounders…– Anthony SanFilippo (@AntSanPhilly) June 24, 2023
According to Jeremy Rutherford, The Athletic ‘s reporter covering the St. Louis Blues, it’s official that neither Nick Leddy, Colton Parayko nor Justin Faulk have been offered.
Faulk has not been asked to waive his no-trade either. #stlblues

I think we’re in for a blockbuster trade tomorrow. Daniel Brière is really trying to put himself on the map with trades of this magnitude.
If he can get at least one, if not two, of the Blues’ first-round picks, plus a Carolina prospect for DeAngelo, I think he could easily come out on top.
In gusto
