Alex DeBrincat traded to Detroit
The Alex DeBrincat derby is finally over.

The Detroit Red Wings have snapped up the Ottawa Senators’ talented small forward.

According to David Pagnotta, the Wings and DeBrincat have agreed on the terms of a four-year contract, with an annual salary of $7.875 million.

Details of the trade have yet to be revealed, but Elliotte Friedman confirmed earlier that DeBrincat would indeed be leaving for Detroit.

With the contract extension now official, it’s only a matter of time before the trade is confirmed.

Details should be released shortly.

More details to come.
