Brendan Gallagher catches a ball at the Blue Jays game in Seattle

During the summer and off-season in the National Hockey League, it’s always interesting to hear from the various players, and what they’re doing with their vacations.

For the Montreal Canadiens, we’ve already learned that captain Nick Suzuki, as well as Josh Anderson and Kaiden Guhle, are spending their summers in Montreal.

In the case of fiery forward Brendan Gallagher, we’d recently heard that he’d engaged his Quebec girlfriend in British Columbia.

My colleague Raphael Simard covered the news.

It was great news for everyone, but especially a very beautiful moment for the pretty little couple.

In short, Gallagher is spending quite a bit of his summer with his girlfriend, and now there’s more news from the CH’s number 11, as he caught a ball at the Blue Jays game in Seattle.

Gallagher certainly has it all.

He’s not just good at field hockey.

In fact, he could very well have made a career in Major League Baseball catching balls like he did yesterday. #Sarcasm

His girlfriend Emma Fortin, who shared a photo of the moment on her Instagram account, was very proud and happy.

It’s worth noting that every year, this series of Toronto Blue Jays games in Seattle against the Mariners is a very popular one with Blue Jays fans.

Being Canada’s team, the Blue Jays have fans across the country, so some fans can’t necessarily afford to travel to Toronto.

Blue Jays fans in British Columbia (and the West in general) therefore take advantage of the Jays series in Seattle to go and see their favorite team in action.

So there are always plenty of Jays fans in the stands in Seattle for games in this series.

Gallagher is still out West with his girlfriend, after getting engaged in British Columbia.

The Tricolore forward is spending his summer in his neck of the woods.

We can’t wait to see him back in action, and hope he stays healthy and has a good season.
