Montreal Canadiens prospect Arseni Radkov has been suspended for five games following a fight with goaltender Owen Bresson that occurred Friday in the QMJHL.
Radkov, who currently plays for the Saint John Sea Dogs, dropped his gloves against the Halifax Mooseheads' goaltender during the second period. The two goaltenders engaged in an intense fight that quickly electrified the crowd at the Sea Dogs' home arena.
Following the altercation, both goalies were ejected from the game after receiving game misconduct penalties. The league subsequently confirmed that Radkov and Bresson would each be suspended for five games, including two in the playoffs.

— RDS (@RDSca) March 15, 2026It's worth noting that fighting is prohibited among players in the QMJHL (under penalty of a lengthy suspension), which explains the severity of the penalties imposed.
Interestingly, no instigator penalty was called by the officials, indicating that both players were deemed equally responsible for the incident.
