Nicolas Roy traded (at a crazy price) to the Avalanche

The latest rumors had it that the Maple Leafs were asking for a first-round pick and a prospect for Nicolas Roy's services ahead of the deadline.

Expensive, right?

But the Avalanche management agreed to a trade involving a first-round pick and a fifth-round pick. The club is clearly all-in at this point.
