Tonight, the Laval Rocket was in action. We'll come back to that later.
What hockey fans were watching, however, was the matchup between Michael Hage and Gavin McKenna. Michigan versus Penn State.
The game was ultimately won by Michigan and the habs prospect thanks to his superb shootout winner.

After he beat his goalie, he let the crowd know.
Hage clearly had the upper hand over McKenna. The Canadiens prospect had three assists and brought his point total to 37 in 28 games this season.
He ranks ninth in NCAA scoring. McKenna, who had one assist, ranks 20th.
In any case, Hage is sensational, and I can't wait to see him in a Habs uniform at the end of the season. He has the potential to be a key player from his very first strides with the big club.
As we saw at the World Junior Championships, the center is agile, fast, has a good shot, and has good vision. These are qualities that could make him a very important player for Martin St-Louis.
It's no surprise that Kent Hughes isn't going to trade him for a rental player…
The Rocket wins its sixth straight game
Pascal Vincent's team faced off against the Hershey Bears and, thanks to a convincing 6-1 win, the Rocket won its sixth straight game.
Jacob Fowler, who started another game, was nearly perfect, stopping 23 of 24 shots.
At one point in the third period, he even wanted to fight.

Overtime
– I've been saying it for several games now: he's the best forward on the habs this season.
Does Juraj Slafkovsky have what it takes to become the Montreal Canadiens' best forward one day?
